Taking the theory test
The driving theory test is a 2 part test which will need to be passed before you can book your practical driving test. This sections are the multiple choice theory questions & hazard perception test.
The multiple choice questions contains 50 questions relating to a wide range of subjects relating to learning to drive. To pass this section you must achieve a pass mark of 44 or more out 50.
The hazard perception test contains 14 short video clips with a total of 15 developing major hazards which you will need to identify in good time. The earlier you respond by using a computer mouse the more points you will score. To pass this section you will need to achieve a pass mark of 44 out of 75.
